Day 01: Katunayake / Sigiriya

Arrival to Katunayake Bandaranayake International Airport. Thereafter transfer to Sigiriya. Check – in at Hotel. Spend the day at leisure.

Overnight Stay with Dinner in Sigiriya.

Day 02: Sigiriya / Hiriwadunna / Sigiriya

Have Breakfast at your hotel and proceed to Hiriwadunna. Hiriwadunna is a small village
located in Habarana. In Hiriwadunna you will walk through the forest enjoining the nature and
while walking you may come across giant Squirrel, Jungle Fowl which is our national bird,
Monkeys, Wild boars and may be you will be lucky enough to spot the wild elephants.
Thereafter you will enter in to Chena Cultivation and you will witness how the village people
engage in their traditional cultivation if they are there. Thereafter you can taste a coconut
sitting under the shade of a mango tree.
In the Chena Cultivation a traditional Sri Lankan Lunch will be prepared for you and you can
witness how our traditional food is cooked. After lunch you will do a Catamaran ride in a
reservoir which is the main water resource of the village people. Thereafter you can do a
Bullock Cart ride thorough the village.
In the evening you will climb the Sigiriya Rock which is a world heritage site built by king
Kassapa in 5 th century AD. Thereafter proceed to Hotel.

Day 03: Sigiriya / Ritigala / Minneriya / Sigiriya

Have Breakfast at your hotel and proceed to Ritigala. En-Route you will get in to a jeep and proceed to Ritigala.

Ritigala is a biodiversity hotspot in Sri Lanka, which stands at 766 meters above sea level. In this
mountain you will experience three different climatic conditions. The lower part of the mountain has a dry zone climate, the middle has intermediate zone and the zenith is often wet. There is a school of legends connected to it and a number of ruins scattered can be seen.
In the evening you will do a jeep Safari either in Minneriya, Kavdulla or in Eco National Park to observe the wild elephants. Thereafter proceed to Sigiriya.

Day 04: Sigiriya / Passikuda

Enjoy a delicious Breakfast at your hotel and proceed to Pasikuda. EN – Route you will visit
Batticola Town, which is a major City in the Eastern Province Sri Lanka on a flat Coastal Plain
bordered by the Indian Ocean.
Check in at Hotel. Overnight stay with Dinner in Pasikuda.

Day 05: Pasikuda

On this day you stay at leisure. Overnight Stay with Dinner in Pasikuda.

Day 06: Pasikuda / Trincomale

After Breakfast you proceed to Trincomale. In Trincomale you will visit the Fort Fredric which
was built by the Dutch and you will visit Koneshwaram Hindu Temple which is dedicated to God
Shiva and is very famous among Tamils and the Buddhist as well. There you will witness a
colossal statue of God Shiva and how the devotees perform their rituals to the God Shiva.

Day 07: Trincomale.

Day 08: Trincomale / Jaffna

Have a delicious Breakfast and proceed to Jaffna. Jaffna is also one of a main district of Sri Lanka which is situated in North Province. The majority of the people in Jaffna is Tamils and most of them are Hindu in Religion. In Jaffna you will visit the Jaffna Fort built by the Dutch. Thereafter check- in at hotel. In the evening you will visit the most famous and venerated and colorful Nallur Hindu Temple which is dedicated to the God Skanda.

Day 09: Jaffna / Point Pedro / Kantarodai / Naguleshwaram / Keeramalai / Kasurina Beach / Jaffna.

After Breakfast you first proceed to Point Pedro.

Point Pedro is the northernmost tip of Sri Lanka facing Bay of Bengal. The name of Point Pedro
derived from Portuguese Punta das Pedras, which means Rocky Point. Thereafter proceed to
Kantarodai, which is a small Hamlet and is one of very ancient Buddhist Site remaining in Jaffna.
It is very famous due to a number of miniature stupas which were built to enshrine the remains
of sixty Arhaths in the area.
Thereafter proceed to visit Naguleshwaram Hindu Temple, Keeramalai Water Spring,
Dambakola Patuna and finally Kasurina Beach. Thereafter proceed to Jaffna.

Day 10: Jaffna / Auradhapura

Relish a delicious Breakfast at your hotel and proceed to Anuradhapura. Anuradhapura is also one of a main district in Sri Lanka and was the main kingdom of Sri Lanka over 1500 years. It is a sacred City and a UNESCO world heritage site.

In Anuradhapura you will visit the Srimaha Bodhi, a sapling of the sacred Bo Tree under which the Lord Buddha gained the Buddhahood, Lovamahapaya,Tuparamaya, Twin ponds, Samadhi Buddha and the gigantic Athpokuna and the gigantic Ruvanveli Maha seya, Abhayagiri and Jetavana Stupas etc.

Day 11: Anuradhapura / Dambulla / Kandy

Have a delicious Breakfast at your hotel and proceed to Kandy. En – Route you will visit the most famous and historic Golden Rock Cave Temple which is a UNESCO world heritage site in Dambulla. Thereafter proceed to Kandy.

Day 12: Kandy Peradeniya / Kandy

Have a delicious Breakfast at your hotel. Thereafter you will visit the Tooth Relic Temple. It is
also a world heritage site and it is the most venerated Buddhist temple in the world. In this
temple the relic of Lord Buddha’s tooth is enshrined.

Thereafter you will walk around the Kandy Lake enjoining the beauty of the Hill capital.
In the evening you will visit the Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya. It was the largest
botanical garden in Sri Lanka.

Day 13: Kandy / Nuwara Eliya

Have a delicious Breakfast at your hotel and travel to Nuwara Eliya. En-Route you will visit a Tea
Factory. In Nuwara Eliya you will do a Sightseen Tour in the Hill Country.

Or you can travel to Nuwara Eliya by Train (Optional). If you travel by Train you get off from
Nanuoya and proceed to Nuwara Eliya.

Check in at Hotel. Overnight stay with Dinner in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 14: Nuwara Eliya / Hortan Plains / Haputale

Have a delicious Breakfast at your hotel and proceed to Horton Plains. Horton plain is a
National Park which is situated around 2300 meters above sea level. It is filled with waterfalls,
wild life and cloud forest is a fantastic scenery. Horton Plain is a habitat for many species such
as toque macaque, samba deer, purple faced langur, slender Loris, fishing cat, wild boars,
barking deer and leopards.
Thereafter proceed to Nuwara Eliya. In Nuwara Eliya you can take a short break and thereafter
continue to Haputale.

Day 15: Haputale

After Breakfast or you take your breakfast packet (It depends on the Train Schedule) you travel
to Idalgashinna by train. There you get off from the train and start a Trekking to the highest
Waterfall (Bambarakanda) in Sri Lanka. (ca. 15 km/ ca. 4 1/2 hours). There you do the Trekking
through Tea Plantations enjoining the beauty of the Nature. Sometimes your Route is covered
by the Mist and you will feel that you are in the Sky.

In Bambarakanda, overlooking the Waterfall you can enjoy the traditional Sri Lankan Lunch
(Rice & Curry). After Lunch proceed to Haputale.

Overnight stay with Dinner in Haputale.

You can do a Program in a very beautiful Village surrounded by a range of Mountains. In this
village you will walk (ca. 9km) enjoining the beauty of the Village and at the end you can have
Sri Lankan traditional Lunch (Rice & Curry) at a local Family in that Village

Day 16: Haputale / Ella / Udawalawa

After Breakfast, you first proceed to Ella. There you will climb the Mini Adam’s Peak, which is
very famous among the foreigners and the view from top of it is fantastic. Thereafter proceed
to Udawalawa. En – Route you will stop at very famous Ravana Waterfall.

Check in at Hotel. In the evening, you will do a Jeep Safari in Udawalawa National Park to
observe the wild Elephants.

Overnight Stay with Dinner in Udawalawa.

Day 17: Udawalawa / Tissamaharama

After Breakfast, you will visit the Elephant Orphanage in Udawalawa. There you will experience
how the baby elephants are fed Milk with bottles. Thereafter, proceed to Tissamaharama.
Tissamaharama is a very old and historic City in the Southern Province and there you will see
some ancient Buddhist Ruins and gigantic Stupas. Cheek in at Hotel.
In the Evening, you will visit Kataragama, which is a Pilgrimage town sacred to Buddhist, Hindus
and indigenous Veddha people of Sri Lanka where a Shrine dedicated to God Skanda can be
seen.

Day 18: Tissmaharama / Yala / Galle

After Breakfast proceed to Colombo. Colombo was the main Capital of Sri Lanka and now is the
main Commercial City in Sri Lanka.

In Colombo you will do a sightseen Tour and you will visit Gangarama Buddhist Temple, Beira
Lake, Independence Memorial Hall, Galle Face, Old Parliament etc. There after proceed to
Negombo. In Negombo you will visit a Fish Market and Old Dutch Canal etc.
There after check in at Hotel and overnight stay in Negombo.

Day 19: Galle / Colombo / Negombo

After Breakfast proceed to Colombo. Colombo was the main Capital of Sri Lanka and now is the
main Commercial City in Sri Lanka.

Day 20: Negombo

You stay at leisure.

Day 14: Nuwara Eliya / Hortan Plains / Haputale

After a delicious Breakfast or with packed Breakfast (According to your Flight schedule) proceed to Katunayale Bandaranayake International Air Port.
